Saving an opportunity search

You can save an opportunity search to avoid entering the corresponding search criteria every time you search for opportunities. For example, while performing a search for the opportunities that have been assigned to a particular owner, you can save the search so that you do not have to enter the search criteria every time you want to search for opportunities owned by that user.

To save an opportunity search:

Procedure

  1. Log in to Sterling™ Field Sales.
  2. From the application sidebar menu, click Opportunities.
  3. The Opportunities home page is displayed. Expand the Search Criteria panel, enter the appropriate search criteria and click Search.
    If the opportunity that you are searching for is displayed in the search results, click the corresponding Opportunity Name hyperlink. The Opportunity Details screen is displayed.
  4. Click Save Search Criteria.
  5. The Saved Search dialog box is displayed. Perform the following steps:
    1. In the Saved Search Name* box, enter a name for the search that is to be saved.
    2. Click Save.
      Note: * indicates that the field is mandatory.

      The saved search is created and the Saved Search dialog box is closed.
