Searching for return orders

The Order Returns page provides a simple user interface to search for and view all return orders that are available in your system.

Customers might call to inquire about the status of the products that they returned, expecting a refund. In such cases, you can search for the return order by using the details that are provided by the customer.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Order Hub.
  2. Click Orders > Returns from the menu.
  3. Select a return level from the Search for list. This option determines the scope of the search and how much information to show in the search results.
    Choice Description
    Return Search for return orders. The search results show general order information such as return number, return status, and return date.
    Return release Search for return order release lines that are included in a return. The search results show specific release line information such as Release number, Ship node, expected delivery date, and return status.
    Return receipt Search for return receipts. The search results show specific receipt information such as receipt number, receipt start date, and receipt status.
  4. Optional: Enter search criteria.
    • To view all return orders across all enterprises, leave the rest of the fields blank.
    • An Enterprise drop-down menu is available only if you have more than one enterprise within your network.
    • Some search fields are only displayed based on the Document type and Search for option that you choose.
    • The search is case-sensitive.
    • You can configure the search fields that display on the page by clicking Customize search criteria Settings icon that looks like a gear.. This option provides other fields to help you narrow your search results.
    • You can click Save search to save the search criteria for future use. After you save, you can reload by clicking Saved searches at the top of the page and select your saved search.
  5. Click Search.
    • The search results page displays a list of results that match your search criteria.
    • To view actions that you can complete, select a checkbox next to an entry in the table or click the overflow menu (Three vertical dots).
  6. Click a search result to view more details.
    The information that is available depends on the return order level that you are searching.
