You can delete an existing Lost Reason for an Opportunity,
using the Opportunity Lost Reason Code screen.
Procedure
- Navigate to the Opportunity
Lost Reason Code screen. To navigate to the Opportunity
Lost Reason Code screen, perform the following steps:

Log in to Sterling™ Business Center as an
Enterprise Administrator.
- From the System Setup Home page,
expand the Opportunity menu, and then click Manage
Opportunity Lost Reason.
The Opportunity Lost Reason Code screen
is displayed. Existing lost reasons, if any, are displayed.
- In the Opportunity Lost Reason Code screen, click the lost
reason code you want to delete and then click the Delete button.
A confirmation message is displayed.
- Click Yes to delete the lost reason
code.
Note: When you delete a lost reason from Sterling Business Center and it is being used in Sterling Field Sales, then the Value
is displayed in place of the value entered in the Short Description in Sterling Field Sales.
