    Table 1. Create node screen
    Field Description
Organization Code Enter a unique code that identifies the node.
Organization Name Enter the name of the node.
DUNS Number Enter a unique nine-digit identification sequence, which provides unique identifiers of single business entities. Sterling Order Management System does not associate any logic with the DUNS number.
Account Number With Hub If the node is not the Hub, enter the account number that the node has with the Hub.
Locale Select the node's geographic location.
Parent Organization Select the node's parent organization.
Primary Enterprise If the node is not an Enterprise, select the applicable primary Enterprise. The primary enterprise is defaulted on the entry point order console screens (for example, on search screens and create screens).

On the organization details screen, when creating or modifying a node organization, the actions that appear on the primary info tab of the node attributes tab are the actions created for that enterprise. Whenever any enterprise level configuration is retrieved in the back-end business logic for a specific organization, the rules are always retrieved for the primary enterprise of that organization.

Node Type Select the node type for this node.
Address and Contact Info The address and contact information for this node organization.

Choose the Details icon to enter an address.

Choose the Contact tab to view additional contact information.

You can also specify latitude and longitude coordinates for this address. If specified for a node, these coordinates are used to plot the node on the Fulfillment Network Model.

Latitude and longitude need to be entered using decimal format with a range of -90 to +90 for latitude and -180 to +180 for longitude.

Note: When latitude and longitude coordinates have not been specified, Sterling Order Management System plots the node using the zip code specified in the address details.

Specifying latitude and longitude coordinates overrides the plotting of a node by zip code location.
