Downloading the sample Operational Reporting Model

You must download the sample Operational Reporting Model by following the instructions that are provided in this topic.

1. The data model is available in the developer toolkit environment in the runtime/repository/external/SMCF-Model-cloud directory relative to the installation location. For more information about the developer toolkit, see Setting up the containerized developer toolkit environment.
2. Use the following commands to copy the model files from the Docker container to your local machine:

   docker cp <container name>:/opt/SSFS_9.5/runtime/repository/external/SMCF-Model-cloud/Preferences.xml <location on host>
   docker cp <container name>:/opt/SSFS_9.5/runtime/repository/external/SMCF-Model-cloud/SMCF-Analytics.cpf <location on host>
   docker cp <container name>:/opt/SSFS_9.5/runtime/repository/external/SMCF-Model-cloud/customdata.xml <location on host>
   docker cp <container name>:/opt/SSFS_9.5/runtime/repository/external/SMCF-Model-cloud/model.xml <location on host>

   Note: All the downloaded files must be placed in the same folder on the local machine.
3. Download and install Cognos® Framework Manager by using the following steps:
   1. Log on to Cognos Analytics.
   2. Select Team Content > Framework Manager.
   3. Click the Framework Manager link and follow the instructions to download, install, and configure Framework Manager.
