Modify the sequence of item's instruction

After all the instructions are created for an item, you can rearrange the sequence of the instructions. For example, from a set of instructions for an item you may want the Make sure that the item is double bubble wrapped instruction to be the first instruction.

1. Go to the Instructions screen by completing the following steps:
   1. Log in to Sterling™ Business Center as an Item Administrator. The home page is displayed.
   2. Click the Products tab.
   3. In the Catalog dashlet, click Find Item. The Item Search screen opens.
   4. Enter the search criteria and click Search.
      Alternatively, to narrow down the list of items displayed, use either the Basic Search or the Advanced Search option. The list of available items is displayed.
   5. In the Items panel, click the Item ID hyperlink. The Primary Information screen is displayed. Alternatively, double-click the row that contains the item ID.
   6. In the Related Tasks panel, click Manage Instructions. The Instructions screen is displayed.
2. From the Manage Instructions for type drop-down list, select an instruction type to view all the instructions pertaining to the selected instruction type. The list displays all the configured item instruction types.
3. In the Instructions panel of the Item Instructions screen, select the instruction and click the Move Up icon or the Move Down icon to modify the sequence.
4. Click Save in the Item Instructions screen.

   The sequence of the instruction is modified.
