Define an item's units of measure

You can define a unit of measure (UOM) that can be used when defining unique identifier for an item.

About this task

For an item, you can provide an item's weight and dimensions for shipping and storage purposes. You can specify the dimensions such as the length, width, and height of an item, along with the weight of the item. The volume value and the volume UOM are derived from the value and UOM you have entered for length, width, and height.

You can define an item's unit of measure from the Item UOMs screen.
