Data extraction

The transformed data from the data mart can be extracted and loaded into your data warehouse. You can extract data for a specific time period using an ETL tool. The extracted file contains information about the metadata extracted from the data mart.

If you are using InfoSphere® DataStage®, refer to IBM InfoSphere Information Server documentation for more information about data extraction. If you are using any other ETL tool, refer to the corresponding product documentation for more information.
