Creating a qualified tag type

Qualified Tag Type is used to configure the class that will validate the Qualified Tags against a particular code and version version. You can associate a particular Qualified Tag Type with one or more Qualified Tags. You can create a qualified tag type.

About this task

To create a Qualified Tag type:

Procedure

  1. From the tree in the application rules side panel, choose Qualified Tag Information > Qualified Tag Type. The Qualified Tag Type window displays in the work area.
  2. Choose the Create New icon. The Qualified Tag Type Details window displays.
  3. Enter information in the applicable fields. Refer to the following table for field value descriptions.
  4. Choose the Save icon.

    Qualified tag type field value descriptions

    Field Description
    Qualified Tag Type Enter name for the new Qualified Tag Type to be created. This is a mandatory field.
    Qualified Tag Type Description Enter a brief description of the Qualified Tag Type.
    Qualified Tag Validator Class Enter the Qualified Tag class name that validates the whether or not a Qualified Tag Id is valid for a particular application code and application version.
    Note: If left blank, default implementation of the Qualified Tag Validator class will be used to validate the Qualified Tag.
