Dissociate a kitting and dekitting service from a physical kit or a dynamic physical kit item

You can dissociate a kitting and dekitting service from a physical kit or a dynamic physical kit item if you do not want the physical kit or a dynamic physical kit item to be associated with the kitting and dekitting service.

About this task

To dissociate a kitting and dekitting service from a physical kit or a dynamic physical kit item:

1. Navigate to the Other Service Associations screen. To navigate to the Other Service Associations screen, perform the following steps:
   1. Log in to Sterling™ Business Center as an Item Administrator.
   2. The application home page is displayed. Click the Products tab.
   3. From the Products home page, click Find Item in the Catalog dashlet.
   4. In the Item Search screen, enter the search criteria, and then click Search to view a list of all the available items. Alternatively, use either the Basic Search or the Advanced Search option to narrow down the list of items displayed.
   5. In the Items panel that is displayed, click the Item ID hyperlink. Alternatively, double-click the row containing the Item ID.
   6. The Primary Information screen is displayed. In the Related Tasks panel, click Manage Other Services.

      The Other Service Associations screen is displayed.

2. In the Kitting Service text box, perform the following steps:
   1. Select the text of the kitting service completely.
   2. Click Delete.
3. In the Dekitting Service box, perform the following steps:
   1. Select the text of the kitting service completely.
   2. Click Delete.
4. Click Save in the Other Service Associations screen.

   The kitting or dekitting service is dissociated from the physical kit or dynamic physical kit item.
