Define availability for IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility and IBM Sterling Global Inventory Visibility

This rule is defined for shipping delivery method on product browsing and product details pages.

About this task

  • When integrated with Sterling™ Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility:
    • If rule=Y, then network level availability.
    • If rule=N, then node level availability.
  • When integrated with Global Inventory Visibility:
    • If rule=Y, then cached inventory.
    • If rule=N, then real-time inventory.

Procedure

  1. Log in to IBM® Sterling Business Center as an Item Administrator.
  2. The application home page is displayed. Click the System Setup tab.
  3. Expand Call Center for Commerce Administration.
  4. Click Product Browsing.
  5. Select the Use cache inventory for product search and details checkbox.
