Creating distribution groups within Order Hub
As a fulfillment manager, you can create distribution groups in Order Hub. You can use the distribution groups, for example, to associate your inventory and sourcing rules with nodes under your enterprise.
Procedure
- Log in to Order Hub.
- Go to Configuration > Distribution groups.

If you are in the Order Management tab and use Intelligent Promising,
from the Enterprise list, select the enterprise within which you want to
create the distribution group.
Note: The Enterprise list is displayed only if there are more than one enterprise within your network that you have access to.
- In the distribution group page click New distribution group. The New distribution group page appears.
- In the Distribution group name field, enter an appropriate name for the distribution group.
- In the Distribution group ID field, enter an appropriate distribution group ID name.

In the Distribution group type field, select the distribution type that
you want to create from the displayed list.
- Product being shipped. You can create distribution group for products that are shipped.
- Product being delivered. You can create distribution group for products that are delivered.
- Provided services. You can create distribution group for additional provided services.
- Procurement. You can create distribution group for items that are obtained from the supplier.
- Click Add nodes to select the nodes that you want to add to the distribution group.

In the Add nodes page, search for the nodes that you want to add to your
new distribution group.
Note: To see all nodes across all enterprises, clear the Enterprise field.
- Select the nodes that you want to add to your new distribution group and click Save. The nodes are added under Add nodes section.

Use the Priority column, to prioritize the selected nodes based on your
requirements.
Note:
- You cannot set priority for procurement distribution group type.
- Fill rate and utilization rate percentages are based on today's values. For more information about how the rates are calculated, see Node details page.
- Review the details and click Create. The new distribution group is created successfully.
