Managing extensible objects
To support your object extensibility requirements, as an administrator, you can create extended entity attributes to a child node of the extensible object in IBM® Sterling™ Business Center.
You can dynamically define extended entity attributes to the child
nodes of the following extensible objects:
- Opportunity
- Purchase Order
- Quote
- Return Order
- Sales Order
Attributes are characteristics or specifications that define the corresponding extensible
objects. You can create the following extended attribute types in Sterling Business Center, for a child node of the extensible object:
- Text Entity Attribute
- Integer Entity Attribute
- Decimal Entity Attribute
- Date Entity Attribute
- Boolean Entity Attribute
You can create extended entity attributes to the child nodes of
extensible objects, and modify the properties of the extended entity
attributes using the Object Extensibility screen. The table below
lists the number of extended entity attributes that can be created
for each attribute type:
Extended Entity Attribute Type | Maximum Number That Can Be Created |
---|---|
Text | 20 |
Integer | 10 |
Decimal | 10 |
