Reprocessing an XML that caused an exception

You can modify and reprocess an XML if the API is defined as Reprocessible.

Note: You can reprocess exceptions that are in the Initial or Saved state only.

Procedure

  1. Click Exceptions in the menu.
  2. Enter search criteria to find the exception.
For more information about each field on the page, see Searching for exceptions or exception groups.
  3. Click Search.
  4. Click the error to go to the Exception details page.
  5. Modify the Input XML field if needed.
  6. Click Save.
Notice that the Error history updates with new records:
    • The newly saved version is added as the first row with the Saved status.
    • The status of the version that you edited changes to Modified.
  7. Select the saved record from the Error history section.
  8. Click Actions > Reprocess.

Results

The input is added to the queue for reprocessing and the state is changed to Pending reprocess. If reprocessing is successful, the state is changed to Fixed for all records in the Error history. If reprocessing fails, a new Error ID is created in the Error history section with the state Initial.
