Installing developer toolkit with Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility phase 1 adapter

You can override the default option and opt to install Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility phase 1 adapter with your developer toolkit.

About this task

By default, Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility phase 2 adapter is installed along with your developer toolkit environment for all new deployments. However, you can opt to install Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility phase 1 adapter with your developer toolkit.

Currently, Sterling Order Management System does not support upgrading from Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility adapter phase 1 to phase 2, or vice versa. Accordingly, developer toolkit is supported to be installed afresh (setup) with only either Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility adapter phase 1 or phase 2 (default).

If you are installing a developer toolkit in upgrade mode (setup-upg), updating a developer toolkit (update-extn), or importing CDT from another environment, it is recommended that you do not change the Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility adapter phase of your developer toolkit. If you require a developer toolkit with a different Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility adapter phase than what is currently installed, it is recommended that you setup developer toolkit afresh with the corresponding Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility adapter phase. For information about setting up developer toolkit afresh, see Setting up the containerized developer toolkit environment.
