Repositories

A repository is a logical collection of entities that define a given business process.

The following entities are included in a repository:

• Pipelines
• Transactions
• Statuses
• Conditions
• Actions
• Services

Sterling Order Management provides a repository for each of the process types. When creating a new process type from a base process type, the corresponding base repository entities are copied and attached to the new process type. For example, when a Sales Order Fulfillment process type is created from the Fulfillment base process type, the base repository entities contained in Fulfillment are copied and attached to Sales Order Fulfillment.
