Delete a price type

A pricing organization user can delete a price type, if the corresponding price type is not required.

1. Navigate to the Price Type Search screen. To navigate to the Price Type Search screen, perform the following steps:
   1. Log in to Sterling™ Business Center as a Pricing Administrator.
   2. The application home page is displayed. Click the Pricing tab.
   3. From the Pricing home page, click Find Price Type in the Pricing dashlet. The Price Type Search screen is displayed.
2. In the Price Type Search screen, enter the search criteria, and then click Search to perform a search.
3. The price types matching the search criteria are displayed. Click the Price Type ID hyperlink or double-click the row corresponding to the price type. The Price Type Details screen is displayed.
   Note: If there is only one price type matching the search criteria, the details of the corresponding price type are automatically displayed.
4. Click Delete. A confirmation message is displayed.
5. Click Yes. The price type is deleted and the home page is displayed.
   Note: You will not be able to delete a price type, if the price type is associated with one or more items or categories.
