Basic service search in IBM® Sterling Business Center

A basic service search will yield a more general search result list based on the criteria provided.

1. Navigate to the Service Search screen. To navigate to the Primary Information screen, perform the following steps:
   1. Log in to Sterling™ Business Center as an Item Administrator.
   2. The application home page is displayed. Click the Products tab.
   3. From the Products home page, click Find Service in the Catalog dashlet.
   4. The Service Search screen is displayed. In the Service Search screen, click Search to view a list of all the available services.
2. In the Service ID Contains text box, enter the complete or partial identifier of the service you want to search for.
3. In the Service Description Contains text box, enter the complete or partial description of the service you want to search for.
4. From the Service Characteristic drop-down list, select the service characteristic of the service you want to search for.
5. Click Search.

   The services matching the search criteria are displayed. However, if there is only one service matching the search criteria, the Primary Information screen is displayed.

   Note: If the administration organization is not a service organization, the services that are available for the service organization of the administration organization are displayed.
