Service capacity refers to the capacity of delivery and provided
services that are supplied by service nodes. In Order Hub, if the
resource pool's capacity is maintained at the resource pool level then you can modify
the standard or override capacity. If the resource pool's capacity is maintained at the
service resource level, then the service resource configurations are
read-only.
Note: Capacity
maintained at resource level is an option in your resource pool details. If selected,
capacity is maintained at the service resource level. If cleared, capacity is maintained at the
resource pool level. For more information, see

To modify capacity
that is maintained at the service resource level, use the
Applications Manager. For more
information, see
Creating and modifying a service resource.
To
modify capacity that is maintained at the resource pool level, complete the following
procedure.

Log in to Order Hub.

Click .

Search for the node or resource pool that you want to modify.

Click the resource pool name to go to the details page.
Ensure that you are selecting a resource where capacity is maintained at the resource pool
level.

Modify the resource pool as needed.
- Standard capacity
- Standard capacity is the normal service capacity that is configured for the resource pool. For
example, you can set an effective date range that starts from 31 October and ends on 31 December.
Then, set standard capacity to 20 hours every day Monday to Sunday for this date range.
- In the Date range field, choose or create a date range when you want the
capacity to be effective. You can also delete a date range by choosing the range and then clicking
the trash can icon (
)
- Start and end dates are inclusive.
- Date ranges cannot overlap.
- In the Capacity for selected date range section, specify the service
capacity weekly schedule, in hours. To set the same capacity value for every day, you can simply
enter the number of hours in the Week column. If needed, specify supplemental
capacity to plan for future weeks where service requests are expected to be high.
- To change the effective date range, update the dates that are beside the Capacity for
selected date range title.
- Click Save.
- Override capacity
- Override the standard capacity for specific days to cope with situations such as holidays or
unexpected increase in service demand. For example, if a group of service personnel decide to take
vacation at the same time, you can reduce the service capacity during the vacation time.
- Toggle between Day, Week, or
Month to find the date where you want to override capacity. In the Month
view, if you have multiple shifts, you can use the drop down menu beside the
Week|Month toggle to view the capacity for different shifts.
- Select the checkboxes for the dates that you want to override.
- Click Override capacity.
- Specify the override capacity and supplemental capacity as needed.
- Update the override or supplemental capacity values as needed and then select the shifts where
you want to apply the changes.
- Click Save.
If you do not see the
Standard capacity and
Override
capacity options, then the resource pool is maintained at the service resource level. To
modify capacity, use the
Applications Manager. For more information, see

Click Save to save your changes.
