Customizable elements by configuration
As part of customizing existing applications, the user interface displays a predefined set of search fields, tables, data fields, and actions. You can use the customization by configuration technique to quickly customize these elements.
- Search fields
- By default, the Order search and Shipment search pages include a comprehensive set of search fields. You can customize pages to add more input fields to further narrow search results. For more information, see Adding search fields to existing search pages.
- Table columns
- Tables that are displayed on the Order search and Shipment search results pages include a predefined set of columns. You can add more columns to show any additional data that is retrievable by the IBM® Sterling Order Management API. For more information, see Adding columns and actions to existing tables.
- Summary fields
- Order, Shipment, and Inventory details pages include a Summary section that display a predefined set of data fields. You can add more fields to show information that is retrievable by the IBM Sterling Order Management API. For more information, see Adding summary fields to existing detail pages.
- Data field configuration
- Under Settings > Configurations > Data fields, IBM provides a subset of user interface fields that a tenant administrator can show or hide for all users. You can add more fields for the tenant administrator to control. For more information, see Adding fields to the Data fields configuration page.
