Statistics-based alerts
As a Systems Integrator, you can create or update different types of Order Management System error rate alerts.
Alert types and descriptions
See the following OMS statistics-based alerts and its details:
- OMS Agent Not Processing Workload
- This metric identifies situations where agent servers remain active but are not processing
workloads that means there are no
getJobsexecutions occurring). Detecting and responding to inactive or stale servers is critical for pinpointing operational bottlenecks and addressing them without delay. - OMS Response Time Statistics
- This metric tracks response times for application endpoints that is captured via
YFS_STATISTICS_DETAIL.CONTEXT_NAME, aiding in the identification of latency issues. A typical scenario includes detecting slowness in real-time calls, such as inventory availability checks. - OMS Order and Shipment Statistics
- This metric monitors the flow of orders and shipments within the system, ensuring that they progress as expected. It is vital for business users to have visibility into the volume of orders created, scheduled, released, and shipments invoiced, and to be alerted promptly if transactions become stuck or delayed at any stage.
Alert types and threshold conditions
See the following table to know the alert type, and the sample threshold:
| Alert types | Threshold conditions |
|---|---|
| OMS Agent Not Processing Workload | No getJobs execution detected for greater than 10 minutes.Note: Select the
Agent server from the drop down and use the number of
getJobs execution metrics on
the agents to identify whether it is processing workload or not. |
| OMS Response Time Statistics | Average response time is greater than or equal to 2000 ms within the last N minutes. Note: In
the OMS Response Time Statistics, different endpoints, APIs, or service names are displayed as
Context Name.
|
| OMS Order and Shipment Statistics | Example condition: No new order records created in the last 30 minutes, or no shipments
invoiced in the last 30 minutes. Note: Select the specific context name or endpoints. Following are
the supported statistics that are displayed:
