Use this section to configure IBM® Sterling™ Business Center for managing catalog index.

Managing search indexes
You can manage many aspects of search indexes. For example, you can generate a New Search Index, an Incremental Search Index, or delete a Search Index.
Generate a new search index
You can generate a new search index from the Item Catalog Index List screen.
Generate an incremental search index
An incremental index build is the most efficient way of generating an index if you have made only a few changes to a corresponding catalog.
Activate a search index
After a new index build is completed, you can activate it so that it can be used when item searches are performed.
Delete a search index
You can delete an inactive search index if you no longer have a use for that search index.
Delete search indexes by date
You can delete an inactive search index by date if you no longer have a use for that search index.
