IBM UrbanCode Deploy Selfserv tool
Available self-service processes
The IBM UrbanCode Deploy Selfserv tool is set up and configured by IBM to enables you to complete specific self-service processes. To complete any of these operations, you do not need to configure any properties file or environment settings file to specify your target IBM Sterling Order Management System environment details.
When you are using the tool, you must select the process, or operation, that you want to run. The processes that are available for you to run are based on the IBM Sterling Order Management System product service application and components that are available for you to access.

Process Version required Description Add Queue No Add queues for agent and integration message queue components. Manage Queue No Retrieve queue details, list all queues, clear the messages in an existing queue, include a test message to a queue, and browse the messages in a queue. Deleting a queue No Delete a queue for agent and integration message queue components. Reset Transaction DB No Truncate transaction tables from the database. Build Customized Runtime Yes Build a customized runtime component version based on a specified deployable package. Extract IBM OMS developer toolkit No Download a replica of the runtime component within the target environment for use in setting up a developer toolkit environment for creating extensions. Export CDT XML No Export database configurations from the master configuration environment. Export application logs No Export application logs for the application to help with troubleshooting. Fetch Install & Version Info No Retrieve version and installation details for the application. Import CDT XML Yes Import database configurations to a target environment. List top 10 largest tables
No Fetch list of top 10 largest table. Load Properties to Database No Load properties into a target database. Load Optional Db2 Scripts No Load the US zip codes and also create corresponding region configuration for these zip codes. Import third party certificates No Import any third party certificates that are required for integration of agent, integration and application server JVMs with the third party system. Importing tenant certificates No Import tenant server certificates that are required for integration of agent, integration and application server JVMs with a third-party system. Restart WAS Server Instances No Use the IBM UrbanCode Deploy Selfserv tool to restart the Sterling™ Order Management System application server. Test Network Connectivity No To test network connectivity to a third-party endpoint URL. Start Agent Server No Start one or more agent servers. You can use the tool to track the version history of application components to view the current version and view when past versions were used. You can also use various features within the tool to help troubleshoot processes.
Deployment processes
The IBM UrbanCode Deploy Selfserv tool provides you with the ability to deploy custom extensions and fixes into your IBM Sterling Order Management System environments without the need to open service requests for IBM to deploy your changes. This approach provides you with a best practice approach for deploying changes with minimal to no interaction by users or administrators of the target deployment environment. This approach also minimizes the effort and troubleshooting that is required by you, or your Systems Integrator, during the deployment process.
