You can manually release an order to a node for fulfillment. When you release an order,
all of the necessary information (such as ship to address, line item quantity, and carrier service
to be used) is sent to the node.
Note: Outbound orders are released only if the scheduled ship nodes have enough inventory to process
the order.
Procedure
-
Log in to Order Hub.
-
Click Orders from the menu and search for the order that you need to
modify.
-
Select the checkboxes next to the orders that you want to release and click
Release.
Alternatively, if you are within the details pages, you can click Actions >
Release.
-
Select Ignore release date if you want the release to be processed
immediately overriding the release date criterion defined in the selected scheduling rule.
-
Click Release. The orders are released to the scheduled nodes.
-
Some actions might take longer than others to complete. To view the most updated information,
you can click the table refresh button (
) on the Order
summary page.
When an order or order line is on hold, there is an icon (
) to indicate the hold. The icon is shown on the order details summary panel for orders on
hold, or the order line details summary panel and order details order lines table for order lines on
hold.
