Modifying billing and shipping addresses

You can modify various address. Modify the Bill to address of an order to ensure that the order amount is billed to the correct address. Modify the Ship to address to ensure that the order is delivered to the correct address. Modify the Ship from address to ensure that the order is picked up from the correct address.

About this task

Whether you can modify an address depends on the order modification rules that are configured in the Applications Manager under Distributed order management > Document Specific > Sales Order > Fulfillment > Order Modification > Order Modification Groups.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Order Hub.
  2. You can modify the Bill to address at the order level.
    1. Click Orders from the menu and search for the order that you need to modify.
    2. Go to the Order details page.
    3. Select the Details tab.
      • If a customer ID is not associated with the order, a pencil icon (image) appears beside the Bill to field. Click the pencil to edit the address.
      • If a customer ID is associated with the order, an overflow menu icon (image) appears beside the Bill to field. Click the menu and either edit the address or select from a list of addresses.
    4. Edit the address and click Save to close the window.
    5. On the Order details page, click the global Save button.
  3. You can modify the Ship to address at the order, order-line, order release, or shipment level.
    Option Procedure
    Order, order line, or order release level
    1. Click Orders from the menu and search for the order, order line, or order release that you need to modify. For more information about searching, see Searching for outbound orders.
    2. Go to the Order details or Order release details page.
    3. Select the Details tab.
      • If a customer ID is not associated with the order, a pencil icon (image) appears beside the Ship to field. Click the pencil to edit the address.
      • If a customer ID is associated with the order, an overflow menu icon (image) appears beside the Ship to field. Click the menu and either edit the address or select from a list of addresses.
    4. Edit the address and click Save to close the window.
    Shipment level
    1. Click Shipments from the menu and search for the shipment that you need to modify.
    2. Go to the Shipment details page.
    3. Select the Details tab.
      • If a customer ID is not associated with the order, a pencil icon (image) appears beside the Ship to field. Click the pencil to edit the address.
      • If a customer ID is associated with the order, an overflow menu icon (image) appears beside the Ship to field. Click the menu and either edit the address or select from a list of addresses.
    4. Edit the address and click Save to close the window.
  4. You can modify the Ship from address at the shipment level.
    1. Click Shipments from the menu and search for the inbound shipment that you need to modify.
    2. Go to the Inbound shipment details page.
    3. Select the Details tab.
      • If a customer ID is not associated with the order, a pencil icon (image) appears beside the Ship from field. Click the pencil to edit the address.
      • If a customer ID is associated with the order, an overflow menu icon (image) appears beside the Ship from field. Click the menu and either edit the address or select from a list of addresses.
    4. Edit the address and click Save to close the window.
