Modifying actions

Modifying actions provides a way for you to change how a workflow behaves without rebuilding or rewiring the workflow itself. You can refine logic, update integrations, or reuse improved behavior across all workflows that reference the action. This approach helps teams move faster while it keeps behavior consistent and easier to maintain.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Order Hub.
  2. From the side navigation menu, select Configuration > Application platform > Process modeling.
  3. To open the required process type, in the process modeling area, click the component.
    The system displays the Service definitions list in the side panel.
  4. Click the Actions icon Actions icon that looks like a bell.
    The system displays the Actions list in the side panel.
  5. From the Actions list, select the group and then action for which you want to modify.
  6. Modify the action in one of the following ways.
    • Edit the action name.
    • Change the action group.
    • To add services, click Add service. Then search and add one or more services and click Add service.
    • To delete services, click the trash can icon for a service.
  7. When you have finished making modifications, click Save.
