If a return order is configured to need authorization, you can manually authorize the
return through Order Hub. When a return is authorized, the return order moves from
the awaiting authorization status to the next applicable status in the pipeline.
Procedure

Log in to Order Hub.

Click Orders > Returns from the menu.

Search for the return order that you want to authorize.

Authorize the return.
You can authorize from various places.
- From the Return search results page:
- Select a checkbox next to the order and then click Authorize.
- Click the overflow menu at the end of the row (
) and then click Authorize.
- From the Return details page, click .

Select an option in the Authorization drop status drop-down menu.
- Authorized: Authorizes the transaction and changes the order status to
Authorized. The order is now ready for the next step in the order pipeline.
- Not authorized: Keeps the return in the
Awaiting
Authorization status. Any alerts that are configured upon non-authorization of a return are
sent out.
- Optional:
Add notes or a reason code as needed.
