Adding service tools to a work order

Some service work orders might need special tools such as a ladder or a toolkit to perform the service. You can add tools to the work order before the appointment as a planning activity, or afterward to track tools that are being used.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Order Hub.
  2. Click Orders > Work orders and search for the work order that you need to modify.
  3. On the search results page, select a checkbox next to the work order or click the overflow menu (Three vertical dots)
  4. Click Service tools.
  5. Select the tools to add to the work order and then click Save.
    Service tools are items in your catalog that are configured with the setting Can Be Added To Work Order As Service Tool. For more information, see Defining a product item's primary information.
