Adding pickup requests

You can add a pickup request for return items that cannot be transported by common carriers. For example, heavy, oversized, or fragile items. When you add a pickup request, you are associating pickup items (intangible pickup services) with products (tangible items).

Procedure

  1. Log in to Order Hub.
  2. Click Orders > Returns from the menu.
  3. Search for the return order that you want to update.
  4. Select a search result to go to the Return order details page.
  5. Select Actions > Add pickup request.
    A list of pickup services that can be associated with the item are displayed. The options that appear are based on the associations that are defined in IBM® Sterling™ Business Center. For more information, see Associate a return pickup service to an item or Associate a product item to a return pickup service. .
  6. Select the pickup services to add to the order and then click Done.
    The service is added to the Pickup requests table.
  7. Create a work order to schedule the service. For more information, see Creating a work order.
