Configuring alert thresholds for inventory

You can configure rules in Order Hub to display alerts on workspaces when it identifies a risk that the inventory might not be fulfilled on time, based on the thresholds that you define. You can set the inventory thresholds and monitor alerts for delayed supply, low demand, and approaching out of stock inventory items. As you review these inventory alerts, you can take immediate actions to resolve these issues or dismiss non-critical alerts.

Alerts are refreshed every 15 minutes on Production environments and every 4 hours on other environments (such as QA).

Procedure

  1. Log on to Order Hub using your IBMid.
  2. In the Order Hub navigation ribbon, select Settings > Alert thresholds.
  3. To create a new alert, click Create and select the inventory alert type that you want to create from the displayed list. You can set the following inventory alerts:
    • Delayed supply. You can set alerts on PO and transfers that are delayed.
    • Low demand. You can set the alerts on products that are not in demand.
    • Approaching out of stock. You can set alerts on products that are approaching out of stock.
  4. In the Threshold name field, enter an appropriate name for the alert threshold.
  5. From the list of enterprises, select the enterprise that contains the nodes for which you want to create inventory alert thresholds.
  6. Click the Select link next to Nodes to be monitored.

    2. Click Next.
    3. Optional: You can upload the list of SKUs that you want to exclude from the threshold. The file that you upload must be a .CSV file with a single column header "SKU". For example:
      SKU

      1212
      1254
      1134
