Docker

Docker is an open and secure hybrid cloud platform for creating encapsulated computer environments, each with its own running copy of Linux. This makes it easy to create, deploy, and run applications using containers. Containers enable you to package an application with all of its dependencies into a standardized unit for software development.

The Docker platform provides flexibility and portability, which enables you to install and deploy IBM® Sterling Order Management on different environments, such as a laptop, a bare metal server, or a virtual machine on the cloud. In addition, the Docker platform supports both hybrid and pure deployments.
