Overview of adding a validation rule for the validation that belongs to payment processing domain

You can add a validation rule for the validation that belongs to payment processing domain either by using the pre-defined greex xml rule or by creating a custom criteria.

Pre-defined greex rule

To configure a simple validation with a pre-defined greex xml rule in Sterling Business Center, the business user enters the value for the required attribute in a text box.
Note: For all the validations, which are implicit and, which are detected by the system you would not be able to create validation rules. For example, CALL_FOR_AUTHORIZATION is a validation that belongs to the payment processing domain. The validation type for this ID is detected by the system. For such validation Ids, the Validation Rules tab would be disabled.

Custom criteria

To configure a more complex validation that is based on a ValidationType, a business user builds a Greex condition that considers the data in the ModelTemplate.
