The application provides an in-built and flexible password policy management for controlling password use and behavior.

Password policy overview
The application provides an in-built and flexible password policy management for controlling password use and behavior. A password policy is a set of rules to define, control and manage user passwords. You can configure your own rules for the password policy, as applicable. The password policy is set at the organization or enterprise level.
Configuring rules for password policy
You need to configure rules for password policy.
Generating passwords
Random or custom user passwords can be generated.
Resetting passwords
You can reset passwords.
Controlling user access and login attempts
You can control user access and login attempts.
Configuring a password policy
You can set up and configure a password policy for your organization and associate it to user accounts in the organization from the Applications Manager.
Assigning a password policy
A password policy can be assigned to each user or a group of users in an organization or could be set as a default at the organization or enterprise level. The password policy assigned to a user takes precedence.
