Memory parameter settings

During an interactive installation, you are prompted for memory parameters for your system. These parameter values are written to the sandbox.cfg property file. After installation, you can edit these values as needed for performance and tuning.
These suggested minimum memory requirements are based on the products you are installing. Values can vary, depending on your environment.

During installation, you can use JVM-specific arguments in your Sandbox.cfg file, such as ADDITIONAL_ANT_JAVA_TASK_ARGS and ADDITIONAL_ANT_COMPILER_TASK_ARGS, to avoid out-of-memory errors. For more information about how the memory parameters relate to the ADDITIONAL_ANT_JAVA_TASK_ARGS and ADDITIONAL_ANT_COMPILER_TASK_ARGS properties, see the Sandbox.cfg installation properties.
