Defining subscriptions

To enable enterprises to be able to operate using their offline databases in the event of a power outage, the enterprises need to subscribe to and import all the profiles that contain their data.

For example, consider the following scenarios:

• Scenario 1 – If you have an enterprise that has its own configuration data and catalog data, the enterprise needs to subscribe to its own configuration profile, the catalog profiles, and the DEFAULT organization’s configuration and hub profiles.
• Scenario 2 – If you have an enterprise that has its own configuration data and pricing data and users are defined for all of these, the enterprise needs to subscribe to its own configuration profile, the pricing profiles, the user profiles, and the DEFAULT organization’s configuration and hub profiles.
