Running the installService script

You can use the installService script to install programs for specific tasks, such as a fix pack file.

This utility calls the dbverify utility when it runs. To suppress the call to the dbverify, set the NO_DBVERIFY property to true in the INSTALL_DIR/install/properties/sandbox.cfg file.

To use this utility, run:
  • Windows<INSTALL_DIR>\bin\installservice.cmd
  • UNIXLINUX<INSTALL_DIR>/bin/installservice.sh
