Upgrading to a containerized Sterling Order Management System Software application
You can upgrade your prior non-containerized single or multi-schema Sterling Order Management System Software versions to a containerized Sterling Order Management System Software application.
Sterling Order Management System Software supports the deployment of containers such as om-base, om-app, and om-agent. However, for migration purposes, only the om-base container is considered.
Before you begin
Before you begin to upgrade your single or multi-schema instance, complete the following prerequisites:
- Read the release notes and installation instructions that are provided for Sterling Order Management System Software.
- Ensure to install the latest fix pack so that the factory setup data of the corresponding fix pack is applied to your database.
- Ensure that all customizations are included in OpenShift® Container Platform version 10.0. For example, ensure that the database extensions are added.
