Delete the Violation Message for a Document Type

You can delete an existing violation message for a document type.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Violation Message screen. To navigate to the Violation Message screen, perform the following steps:
    1. Log in to Sterling Business Center as a system administrator or a system set up administrator.
    2. From the System Setup Home page, expand the Approvals menu, and then click Manage Violation Message .
    The Violation Message screen is displayed. Existing violation messages, if any, are displayed.
  2. In the Violation Message screen, click the message you want to delete and then click the Delete button. A confirmation message is displayed.
  3. Click Yes to delete the message.
    Note: When you delete a violation reason for a quote from the Violation Message screen , then the message automatically gets deleted from the Violation Message screen and you will not be able to view the message in the Quote Approval Rule Violation Reason screen.
