About this task
You can configure purges to write log files
to a directory you specify. Each time you run a particular purge,
new data is appended to this file. If no file exists, one is created.
To specify a purge log file directory:
Procedure
- Open the Applications Manager and select
the application that you want.
- Configure the
yfs.purge.path
property
in the <INSTALL_DIR>/properties/customer_overrides.properties
file.
For example, on UNIX you might
specify the log files to be written to the /app/yfs/logs/purges
directory.
For additional information about overriding properties using the
customer_overrides.properties
file, see the Configuring Property Files
topic.
- Run the
<INSTALL_DIR>/bin/setupfiles.sh
script
on UNIX, or the <INSTALL_DIR>/bin/setupfiles.cmd
script
on Windows.
