Routing guide line records are not retrieved on a search

After modifying a routing guide line, routing guide line records are not retrieved on a search.

Problem

If you modify a routing guide line, save your changes, and then search for all routing guide lines, the system does not retrieve any records unless the Configurator is restarted.

Solution

To resolve this out-of-memory issue:

  1. In the Java Control Panel, set the JVM-specific argument to 128m or more, depending on the use case (for example,-Xms to 256m).
  2. Close and then reopen the Java Control Panel to ensure that the JVM-specific argument has been saved correctly.
  3. Navigate to General > Settings > Delete Files in the Java Control Panel. In the Java Console, delete the cache by entering x until the prompt "Clear Classloader cache ... completed" appears.
  4. Close the Configurator and Internet Explorer.
  5. Restart the Configurator.
