Introduction to integrating with JMS
In order for some service nodes to communicate with external applications, software for external message queues must be configured.
The following third-party messaging applications are supported:
- Oracle WebLogic JMS
- IBM MQ
- IBM® WebSphere® Default Messaging
- Apache ActiveMQ Artemis
IBM supports JMS clustering configuration options for these
messaging systems, enabling customers to configure their JMS queues for either high availability,
balancing the load, or a combination of both.
Note: The recommended maximum payload size for MQ
messages is 1 MB.
