Deploying Sterling Order Management System Software for integration with Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility

Configuring and deploying Sterling Order Management System Software for integration with Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility includes running the activation script, defining properties for your implementation, and triggering the integration servers.

Procedure

  1. Merge the template files with the currently extended templates.
    The following sample template files are present in the <INSTALL_DIR>\repository\xapi\template\merged\event\ivintegration directory that are needed for Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility.
    • INVENTORY_CHANGE.SUPPLY_CHANGE_LIST.xml.sample
    • INVENTORY_CHANGE.DEMAND_CHANGE.xml.sample
    The following template files are present in the <INSTALL_DIR>\repository\xapi\template\merged\event directory:
    • INV_SNAPSHOT.SUPPLY_SYNC.xml
      If iv_integration.inventory.enableTagSupport is set to true, INV_SNAPSHOT.SUPPLY_SYNC_WITH_TAG.xml
    • INV_SNAPSHOT.DEMAND_SYNC.xml
      If iv_integration.inventory.enableTagSupport is set to true, INV_SNAPSHOT.DEMAND_SYNC_WITH_TAG.xml
  2. Run the activation script to enable actions on events for a specific enterprise factory setup. See Activating the integration.
  3. Configure Sterling Order Management System Software to respond to Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility requests by editing the iv_integration.properties file. See Defining the integration properties in Sterling Order Management System Software.
  4. Build and deploy the EAR.
