View or manage holds that apply to a specific shipment.

Shipment holds

Description of the Shipment holds section
Field Description
Hold description A brief description of the hold.
Hold status The current status of the hold.
  • Created: Hold was applied to a shipment or load, and has not yet been examined.
  • Rejected: Hold was reviewed by a supervisor who decided that the shipment or load should not be processed.
  • Resolved: Hold was reviewed by a supervisor who decided that the shipment or load can be processed.
Hold comment Any additional comments for the hold.
Actions
Action Description
Add holds Place a hold on the shipment to temporarily stop the shipment from continuing through the shipment pipeline.
Resolve Resolve a hold after reviewing and addressing the issue. The shipment can continue through the shipment pipeline.
Reject Reject the hold to indicate that the shipment should not be processed.
Resubmit Resubmit a rejected hold. The hold returns to the Created status for a supervisor to review.

Reason The reason for changing this hold to resolved status.
