Enabling integration with IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising Optimization service

As a system implementor, you can set the properties that enable the integration with the Sterling™ Intelligent Promising Optimization service.

About this task

The default values are set as part of the inbuilt integration. You can update these values based on your business requirement.

Procedure

  1. Configure the following iv_integration properties in the customer_overrides.properties file.
    • tenantId
    • clientId
    • secret
    For more information, see iv_integration.properties.
  2. Configure the sip_integration properties to call the Rest APIs for the IBM® Sterling Intelligent Promising Optimization service integration with Sterling Order Management System Software. For more information, see sip_integration.properties.
  3. Ensure that the ship nodes and carrier services are available in Sterling Order Management System Software and Sterling Intelligent Promising Optimization service.
  4. Set the determine_default_shipping_group rule to Y for the Optimization APIs to use the default carrier service when CarrierServiceCode is not passed as an input.

If the determine_default_shipping_group rule is not set and the CarrierServiceCode is not passed as an input, the Optimization APIs displays the validation error.
