Setting up barcode translation preferences

You can specify whether barcode translation is required for totes and staging locations or not. You can also choose to apply the preferences to the current store or all stores.

1. Perform the following steps to view store administration rules:
   1. Log on to Sterling Business Center as a system administrator.
   2. From the Organization menu, select the organization for which you want to apply the rules.
   3. Click System Setup. The System Setup home page opens.
   4. Expand the Store Administration menu. A list of store administration rules is displayed.
2. Expand the Batch Pick Rules menu.
3. Click Barcode Translation Preferences. The Barcode Translation Preferences window opens.
4. Select Staging location translation required to translate the scanned barcode to the staging location.
5. Select Tote translation required to translate the scanned barcode to the Tote ID.
6. Click Save to apply the settings only to the current store. However, if you want to apply the settings to all stores, click Save and Apply Settings To All Stores.
