Safety stock rule details
As a fulfillment manager, you can view the list of safety stock rules that is created and the status of each rule. You can also edit, delete, or duplicate a safety stock rule. The Safety stock rule page consists of various widgets such as filter, priority, rule name, and conditions.
Procedure
- Access the Safety stock rule details page, clicking Inventory > Safety stock rules.

Click one of the following tabs to view the data.
- Network rules
- Network rules specify safety stock values at the item-network level and are used for availability queries that involve the entire network or a distribution group.
- Node rules
- Node rules specify safety stock values at the item-node level and are used for single node availability.

Use the Filter panel to search the network and node safety stock rules.
If the Filter panel is hidden, click the filter icon in the upper-right of the Safety stock rules page to make it visible.

Enter the information into the applicable fields. See the following table for the field value
descriptions.
Field Description Summary Displays the safety stock rules and conditions that you select in the Filter panel. General Enter the rule name and rule status details. Conditions Select the conditions of the safety stock rules that you want to display. Safety stock setting Enter the safety stock value. Schedule Select the schedule. It can be unrestricted or specific dates. -
Click Apply. The safety stock rule table is displayed with the list of
safety stock rules. The rules are based on the criteria that you selected in the
Filter panel.
You can now edit, delete, or duplicate the safety stock rules.

The safety stock rules table has the following details:
Field Description Rule name The rule name. Conditions The conditions used for this safety stock rule. - The network level rule conditions are as follows:
- Delivery method
- Distribution group
- Catalog category
- Item ID or SKU
- The node level rule conditions list is as follows:
- Delivery method
- Node
- Node type
- Catalog category
- Item ID or SKU
Safety stock The safety stock value. Safety stock type The safety stock type. Start The start date. End The end date. Status The status of the rule. The status can be one of the following values: active, inactive, scheduled, or expired. - The network level rule conditions are as follows:
- To edit a safety stock rule, click the rule name in the list. The Safety stock rules page displayed.
- Click Edit. The Edit safety stock rule page is displayed.
- After you edit the rule, click Save to save the safety stock rule.

To delete a safety stock rule, click the checkbox next to the rule name and then click
Delete.
Alternatively, you can click the overflow menu at the end of the row and select Delete.
- To duplicate a safety stock rule, click the overflow menu at the end of the row and select Duplicate. Make updates as needed and click Save.
