You can configure pricing rules using the pricing administration feature of Sterling™ Business Center.

Creating a pricing rule in Sterling Business Center
A pricing organization user can create various types of pricing rules. For example, a pricing organization user can create a pricing rule based on the quantity of items ordered, the order total, or even on a certain combination of items ordered.

Combination pricing rules allow the administrator to create a pricing rule that takes the list of items, item attribute groups, or item category into consideration. You can create a combinational pricing rule either for one item, list of items, item attributes, item category, or combination of item attributes and category.

A user can search for a pricing rule and view its details by using either a basic or an advanced price rule search.
Modify pricing rule details
An enterprise user or a pricing organization user can modify a selection of details that pertain to a pricing rule, including date range, status, and conditions and effects.
Modify the status of a pricing rule
A pricing organization user can change the status of a pricing rule to either activate or deactivate the pricing rule.
Assign a pricing rule to customers
After a pricing rule is created, an enterprise user can assign the pricing rule to customers of the corresponding enterprise. When a pricing rule is assigned to a customer, the pricing rule will be used to adjust the prices applied to orders pertaining to that customer.
Assign a pricing rule to stores
After a pricing rule is created, a pricing organization user can assign the pricing rule to a store of the corresponding enterprise. When a pricing rule is assigned to a store, it will be used to adjust the prices of the orders pertaining to that store organization.
Copy a pricing rule
A pricing organization user can create a new pricing rule from an existing pricing rule by copying it.
Delete a pricing rule
A pricing organization user can delete a pricing rule, if required.
