Deleting a segment type

You can delete a Segment Type from the Allocation Segment Types screen.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have configured the Use Enhanced Segment Based Allocation segment rule before you modify an existing segment type. For more information, see Configuring segment rule.Configuring segment rule.

1. Log in to Sterling™ Business Center as an Inventory Administrator. The Home page is displayed.
2. In the Switch to drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the screen, select the inventory organization for which you want to set up segment rule.
3. Click the Inventory tab. The Inventory page is displayed.
4. Click Manage Segments in the Allocation Segment Types dashlet. The Allocation Segment Types screen is displayed.
5. Select a Segment Type to delete. Click Delete.
6. Select the Save icon in the upper right corner of the window to save your modifications.
