Creating a suggested folder structure for reports

There is an optional setup folder structure you can create for reports.

About this task

We recommend the following steps to create your folder structure for report deployment:

Procedure

  1. Create a folder named "Staging" (or similar) under /<INSTALL_DIR>/<ANALYTICS_HOME>.
  2. Under the "Staging" folder create a folder named "Publish".
  3. Under the "Publish" folder, create a folder for "Reports" where the reports that are ready to be deployed are stored.
  4. You can create additional folders under "Reports" to group reports. For example, Finance or Marketing.
