This topic describes the features that you will notice when you upgrade to Release 9.5

Backroom pick only for a single order is supported.	The Batch Pick feature is introduced. A store associate can use the feature to pick products in batches. To know more about the feature and how to use it, see Batch Pick concepts and Sterling Store user help.
The web version of Sterling™ Store Engagement (Legacy) application only supports the Customer Pickup feature.	The mobile version of Sterling Store Engagement (Legacy) application also supports the Customer Pickup feature. For more information, see Enabling customer pickup. However, the following issues are observed in the feature: You cannot search for orders based on pickup recipient's details. The application does not indicate an error when you scan invalid characters.
The ability to capture orders or perform product-based packing is not available.	The application is enhanced with the capability to capture orders at anytime, anywhere in the store regardless of the fulfillment method. For more information, see Order Capture concepts. Additionally, the ability to perform product-based packing, where the store associate can pack individual products that belong to multiple orders or a single order, directly from a cart. The ability to create a return order at a store is not available.	The application is enhanced with the capability to create a return order at a store. For more information, see Return and exchange orders

How it affects you

As a store associate, you can perform additional store tasks such as batch pick, order capture, and return creation from the home page.
As a store implementer, you must re-customize the new screens appropriately to incorporate the extensions of the old screen.
